German reading practice at B1

German reading practice at B1: normal but accessible German with subordinate clauses, natural connectors, and some vocabulary from the topic.

    What B1 means

B1 is the third CEFR level and the level of the Goethe-Zertifikat B1. At B1 you can understand the main points of clear standard texts on familiar matters. These texts use Perfekt for past events, connectors like deshalb and trotzdem, and one subordinate clause per sentence at most.

Every text is the same story at all three levels, so you can switch up or down on the page without losing your place in the topic.
