German Dative Verbs Flashcards (Verben mit Dativ)

The verbs that take the Dativ are a short list, but they cause a lot of mich and mir mistakes because English does not mark the difference. This deck drills them as a set: each card shows a Dativ verb in German, and you flip it for the meaning. Learn them together with a pronoun in mind, helfen with mir, danken with dir, and the case comes out right on its own.
